The online radio Boxout.fm, kickstarts its third year in operation by a celebration of its homegrown artists. It brings together an amalgamation of it’s DJ’s, electronic performances and many other genres of music catering to everyone's tastes and sensibilities.
This comes through a three day music festival, The Boxout Weekender from April 5 - 7th in New Delhi, which will take place simultaneously at two adjacent venues, Auro Kitchen & Bar and Summer House Café.
Malfnktion
The Delhi-based Coven Code is said to take over the rooftop at Summer House on Friday and Saturday, showcasing six of the collective’s DJs like Pia Collada, Priyam, Lush Lata, Shireen, Fadescha and Zequenx, and we can’t wait to see what girl power looks like!
The line up also features many promising electronica, hip hop and bass artists like Spryk, SickFlip, MALFNKTION,Oceantied and Ezzyland at Auro. Rohan Kalé, Sub-Z and a live set from Boxout.fm Recordings artist Corridors would simultaneously take place at Summer House Cafe.
Spryk
On Saturday, artists like SUCHI, GIRLS NIGHT OUT, D80 and TRAFFICC will perform at Auro while Summer House will host Drum Attic, Adam Rahman, Nishant G and Loni Electronics.
The festival concludes on Sunday with live performances by critically acclaimed percussionist and composer Sarathy Korwar, an electronica band FOPCHU, electronica producers Kumail and Native Indian, with IAMRISHA, Delhi Sultanate, and Dubai-based SoulFood Project playing at the venue’s terrace.
Girls Night Out
A platform which is known to bring together new and independent sounds, we are sure that it would leave no stone unturned in putting together a rhythmic, therapeutic and a promising weekend full of raw, new and astonishing sounds of music.
