Hermès invites artist duo Aashika & Tanishaa Cunha to design its windows at Jio World Plaza store. Inspired by the house's emblematic codes and labyrinth-like structure of the Faubourg, the windows depict a Fairground.
The rides take you on an exploratory journey through a whirlwind of stairways and a geometric play of lines and patterns creating mysterious nooks and corners of discovery.
Akin to the house, which is constantly in motion, the windows symbolize a voyage of adventurous ups and downs and the thrill of what's to come.
The design accentuates the art deco mosaic motifs that decorate the Faubourg store which is brought to life by reviving the ancient craft of hand-cut glass mosaic. Aashika & Tanishaa innovate and push the boundaries of this art form, envisioning a vibrant and playful scenery using vitreous tiles.
