Gaurav Khanijo re-interpreted the bygone era of India Fashion Cinema with his in the first ever online exhibition on Google Arts and Culture. The Two part exhibit is an interpretative bricolage of the key fashion silhouettes from Indian cinema that have infused the Indian aesthetic with their transformative capabilities and vice versa. Perhaps the star image that had people talking was the Khanijo garments in a mood that sets the tone of the conversation!

The online exhibition is curated by Divya Thakur for The Museum of Design Excellence in Mumbai with the intention of archiving and informing the history of men's fashion and the impact of Cinema in culture.

On the occasion, Gaurav Khanijo founder of Khanijo was quoted saying “I am thrilled to contribute and learn that my garment has been chosen in this important study that will go down the ages as an important piece of work. I always ensure that all of my designs in their construction and silhouette reflect the best of Indian craftsmanship.”
