Season 2 will watch nine new strangers come together at the Zauberwald wellness retreat in the Austrian Alps in a wintertime wonderland.

Wednesday
Season 2
Netflix
Though not much has been revealed about Netflix’s Wednesday for Season 2, executive producers Al Gough and Miles Millar promise 'darker and more complex' episodes as the titular character continues her studies at Nevermore Academy in 2025.
Season 1 didn’t dive into her famous Addams family members too much, but her mom Morticia (Catherine Zeta-Jones), father Gomez (Luis Guzman) and brother Pugsley (Isaac Ordoñez) are said to appear more in Season 2 as the show explores the family’s history. This could potentially open up an opportunity to meet more wacky members from the family tree and the return of Uncle Fester (Fred Armisen).

Squid Games
Season 3
Netflix
It’s challenging to discuss Season 3 of Netflix’s popular Korean drama without revealing too much about Season 2, which premiered on December 26. Season 3 continues the broader narrative from the second season, so viewers can expect to see unresolved plot points addressed. Lee Jung-Jae will reprise his role as Gi-Hun, along with other characters who survived another round of the dystopian games crafted by Hwang Dong-hyuk, who filmed the second and third seasons back-to-back.
Severance
Season 2
Apple TV
With more than two years between the release of Apple TV+’s Severance Season 2 and the first season, things might be fuzzy in some viewers’ memories, but the science fiction thriller series took off for a reason. Starring Adam Scott as Mark Scout, the show explores an extreme version of a work-life balance with certain employees at Lumon Industries undergoing a surgical procedure that severs their work brain from their out-of-work brain. Employees who work on the severed floor go into work and essentially become a different person while they complete their assignments before reverting back to their outer-world selves, with no recollection of what they do for work.

The White Lotus
Season 3
Jio Hotstar
For the uninitiated, The White Lotus is a satirical series that critiques American travel culture through its portrayal of wealthy guests at a luxurious resort. The recently released third season continues to explore themes of privilege and absurdity, revealing the hidden dynamics and secrets of its characters. Each episode delivers sharp social commentary while highlighting the absurdities of the guests’ interactions. Viewers can expect a thought-provoking examination of societal norms that challenges perceptions of luxury and entitlement.
