Bangers Only
I wanted the album to be a collection of tracks where every song could stand out as a hit—a "banger." The idea was to create an album where each track is as impactful as the next, blending different genres and styles, but all with the same goal: to keep listeners engaged from start to finish.

Starting Point
The starting point of Bangers Only was a simple idea, I wanted to explore the diverse musical influences that have shaped me as an artist. I wanted to challenge myself to create a multi-genre album that still felt cohesive. The first few songs I wrote were like experiments—blending jazz chords with funk rhythms, layering pop melodies over rock structures. As I collaborated with various artists, each track started to take on its own identity, leading to an album that’s as eclectic as it is unified.

Collaborative Process
Collaboration, for me, is all about creating something greater than the sum of its parts. I start by understanding the other artist's vision and style, then look for common ground between their approach and mine. I believe in finding a balance where both our artistic voices are heard. It’s like a musical conversation where we push and pull ideas, respecting each other’s strengths while bringing our unique sensibilities to the table. This fusion often leads to unexpected and exciting outcomes.

My creative process often starts with a guitar riff or a chord progression that resonates with me. From there, I build the foundation of the song, experimenting with different rhythms, melodies, and harmonies. Collaboration plays a big role—working with other artists and producers helps shape the direction of each track. I’m always open to breaking rules and trying new things, whether it’s fusing genres or playing with song structures. Once the music feels right, I focus on the lyrics, aiming to capture the emotion and story behind the melody.

Music from India
The music coming out of India right now is incredibly exciting and diverse. Indian rap is certainly leading the charge, with artists bringing raw, authentic voices to the forefront. But beyond rap, there’s a wealth of innovation happening across genres. Artists are blending traditional Indian sounds with contemporary styles, creating something entirely new. It’s a vibrant scene, and what’s most exciting is that it’s just the beginning. The global recognition Indian music is receiving is well-deserved, and I’m thrilled to be a part of this creative wave.
