With the Shivan & Narresh Couture Series IV, the brand draws continued inspiration from the legendary Hilma af Klint’s artistic vision, exploring spiritual and divine influences. The Series takes the brand’s signature bold, graphical approach and marries it with a modern textural play of embroideries to create a couture language that is untethered & distinctive in the design landscape.
The Couture Series IV introduces a vibrant new personality, featuring a color palette that ranges from silky silvers to joyful pinks and reds, culminating in dramatic blacks and emerald greens. The collection showcases contrasting embroideries across various elements, celebrating graphical motifs with sparkling metallic and glass beads, bold pearls in monochromatic tones and different sizes, and intricate textures crafted from silk threads and organza. Experience a dynamic fusion of couture techniques, including textile appliqué, hand- crocheted silk details, and 3D beadwork. The exploration of textiles continues with innovative handcrafted knits using silk and lurex yarns to create intriguing knit structures, further enhanced by a luxurious finish of crystals and glass beads.
Shivan & Narresh Couture truly celebrates a diverse silhouette journey, resulting in 45 unique masterpieces, featuring a wide spectrum of silhouettes from intricate swimsuits and jumpsuits to stunning robes, skirts, and saris for women. The collection reinvents the focus on bust lines with daring micro-blouses that exude bold confidence. In menswear, experimentation shines through with embroidered kurtas paired with draped lungi skirts for a fluid look, alongside statement shirts and vests, structured jackets and bandhgalas enriched with textured details.
As the golden hour set, the sweeping architectural splendour of The Upper HSE by Tivoli lent a refined elegance to the ambience, enveloping guests into a sweeping skylit glasshouse, evoking the sensational paradigm of sitting amidst a luminous orb. The immersive experience was taken a notch higher with a display of the expressionist — The BMW XM by the BMW Excellence Club, exuding an emotional potency beyond traditional norms and conventions. A unique vehicle concept, it wrapped up various elements of innovation, modern technology and supreme performance in a head-turning design amid the showcase. The exclusivity and boldness of the show mirrored the privileges extended by the BMW Excellence Club, a members-only programme that curates handpicked experiences across luxury lifestyle, travel, sports and dining while extending exclusive BMW privileges to fulfil a desire for the extraordinary.
